Overview
The International Relations concentration within the Leadership discipline provides students with fundamental knowledge about the theories, organizations, processes, structures, and mechanisms that explain and govern the behavior of states and not-state actors. Effective leadership at the international level requires a clear understanding of the rights and responsibilities of all involved parties, historical and cultural context, and a keen understanding of power and influence. Students in this concentration will examine areas including international standards for human rights, international organizations, multinational businesses, international relations theories, and associated economics.
