Overview

The Public Administration concentration within the Leadership discipline focuses on aspects of administrative leadership within the public and non-profit sectors. Students can focus their attention on employment-relevant specialties such as budgeting, conflict management, human resources, organizational culture, and public health (see the course offerings for additional options). This concentration is intended for PhD in Leadership students who are seeking to better understand leadership of their current or future department. Emphasis is placed on history and theory as well as modern leadership approaches and considerations within specific public sector/government and legal contexts.
